Room Hire at the Centre

Rooms are available for hire 7 days a week, 8am to 9.30pm. We are closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Years Day.

Our facilities include:

  • Plenty of chairs and folding tables which you can arrange to meet your needs.
  • A modern kitchen which was fitted in 2007 with a lottery grant.
  • Easy access using the ramp at the main entrance.
  • An accessible toilet with assistance alarm (RADAR lock fitted).
  • An efficient heating system which provides instant heat to keep you nice and warm when it’s cold outside.

How to make a Booking

Follow these simple steps:

  • Use this section of the website to check room details, floor plans and terms of hire.
  • Visit the calendar app to check availability via the links in yellow below.
  • The calendar is undergoing changes at present, be sure to choose the “Day” view in order to check availability of your room (if the system won’t let you book it, it’s not available).
  • Please allow 30 minutes between bookings in the same room – this allows for a smooth transition from one booking to the next.
  • Complete the booking form. This can be opened via the Request Booking button in the calendar app or by clicking directly on a time slot in the calendar.

Booking a PARTY or SOCIAL GATHERING? We regret that we cannot currently accept these bookings.

Indemnity/Public Liability Insurance

We provide indemnity insurance via Trafford Council for voluntary groups, other non profit making organisations and individuals using the centre for non-profit making purposes only (eg. some ad-hoc bookings, community groups and meetings etc.), for which a fee of 10% of your hire charge will be added to your invoice. The cover can NOT extend to companies, organisations or individuals using the centre for profit making commercial ventures, in which case you will be expected to provide your own (See terms of hire for more information).

Invoicing and Payment

One-off Bookings: These will be invoiced upon confirmation of your booking – payment is due once we issue the invoice. Regular Weekly or Monthly Bookings: Invoicing and payment occurs retrospectively around the first day of each month, with payment due by the 15th of each month.
