Accessibility at the Centre

This page provides the answers to the questions we have been asked regarding accessibility:

  • All rooms are on the ground floor
  • Access is via a concrete ramp at the main entrance
  • The entrance to all rooms is wide enough to allow for wheelchair access
  • The accessible toilet is located on the main corridor, and is fitted with a National Key Scheme (RADAR) lock
  • Of the 14 car parking spaces available, one is designated for the disabled
  • Braille is provided on room name signs
  • There is contrast between doors, walls and floors in order to make them easily distinguishable
  • The halls in particular, benefit from plenty of natural light
  • The car park is well lit at night during centre opening hours.
